Static_23 Posted February 20, 2011 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 well i used 3" angle and 2"x3" tubing. i had to cut about a 1/2" off on side of the 3" angle. that way it stick up higher than my table. could have used 2.5" angle but i wanted the support of the 3". for the back foot on the fence i simply removed it. then took a piece of UHMW and cut it to size. made it so that when stuck to the bottom of the fence it would stick up about 1/16" lower than the fence guides. the only problem that i have now is that i cant use the full fence but i am designing a cabinet that will have my router in it and also drawers and cabinet space for blades, bits, and accessories. one picture shows the piece that i double stick taped to the bottom of the fence and the other shows how far it sticks out.
