Juicegoose
I'm needing a 6" flange fitting for my 6" s & D piping. I haven't been able to locate one so far but have seen plenty in sch 80 pvc. Does anyoe know off hand if the I.D. of a sch 80 fitting works with the o.d. of the s & d fitting? TimV
No. They do not fit each other. What do you mean flange fitting? Is this the connection from your DC to the 6" piping? If so, I used a rubber repair boot. Not only did this accommodate the 2 different ID's but it also isolates the vibration of the DC to the piping. Juicegoose
Tim thanks for the reply. I will be using the flange between the bottom inlet of my 50-760 dust collector and the top of my pre separator. I was going in enlarge the hole from 5" to 6" attach a flange at the bottom of the collector and top of the seperator and then insert a piece of flex tubing between the two. I could probably use hvac flanges couldn't I?
