busterboy2238 Posted August 16, 2010 Report Share Posted August 16, 2010 Howdy from Texas! I've just completed a kitchen island and have yet to mount the maple butcherblock top. What I'm wondering is about wood movement. The top is long grain glued, i.e. the edge of the wood is the top surface. As wood moves across the long grain, do I have anything to worry about?
