simeond
So, where I live, outside Cleveland, the entire city had a "garage sale". I pulled the following router places from the day of scavaging: There are two that appear to have been made by the original owner (i.e. not a manufacturer), one a tongue and the other a grove (but not a matched set): Then there is this nosing plane (is that the right word for opposite of cove?): Its marked "Ohio Tool Co" on one side and on the other is stamped "10" and "73". Finally is the side-bead plane: This one is marked "Owasco Tool Co. New York" on one side - which I guess is a pseudonymn for the Auburn Tool Co (which later became Ohio Tool Co)- and marked "8/8" and "no. 10" on the other side. The presumptive owner's name is stamped on both ends "J.R. Leighton" The blades all seem in fair condition, though could use some tuning. Altogether I spent $35 for the lot!
