linnig
What is the best way to finish a new rustic alder exterior door in a medium cherry finish. I live in Phoenix AZ so the heat and sun is a factor. Any suggestions on product, coats etc, greatly appreciated.
kforsythe@gmail.com
Marc made a video on this very subject a while back. He recommended Epifanes Marine Varnish. Link to the video: 46 - Desert Outdoor Finish

Bobby Slack
I am a huge fan of a three coat system made by Sikkens. First coat is a Cetol 1 and the second and third coats are Cetol 23. I use that on all exterior project ... including my log cabin. This is used on Cabins and also on boats.
