AceHoleInOne
*****QUOTE***** From a very trusted source, I found out that GF's Salad Bowl Finish is really just Seal-a-Cell that underwent the certification process. Obviously we can't know for sure, but I suspect something similar is going on with their Toymaker's Finish. Interesting..........lets follow the bread crumb's .......> Arm-R-Seal is similar to Seal-A-Cell Seal-A-Cell is similar to Salad Bowl Finish Salad Bowl Finish is similar to Toy Makers Finish So if Seal-A-Cell is certified (over the years I have read that Seal-A-Cell is basically thinned down Arm-R-Seal?) that Salad Bowl/Toy Makers Finish will be toy safe once cured? So my question is.... if you put 10 coats of Seal-A-Cell on a toy will it become not safe? Or is Arm-R-Seal safe as well? My point being.... if you apply 10 coats of Seal-A-Cell, it's like applying 2 to 3 coat of Arm-R-Seal........????? -Ace- Damn I need to quit the beer and cigarettes....?
