Steven Reckner
Hi Marc, I have noticed in many of your videos for setting up your machines to adjusting and fine tuning that you use a set of feeler gauges. I have had a little bit of a hard time finding any and when i do they seem to be for spark plugs in cars?? anyway could you suggest where to buy them and what the thickest and thinest gauges are in your set. I am trying to take my new shop and work up a few notches thanks for all your help and great videos
thewoodwhisperer
Hey Steven. I can feel you, but I'd rather not. Here's the set I have: http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=32527&cat=1,43513,51657,32527
Rgraham888
I picked up a set from Harbor freight for about $5. They rusted fairly quickly, so consider that.
Jfitz
I think I got mine at Lowes or HD. They're nothing special but they work. I think the set goes down to .0015"
thewoodwhisperer
the reason i bought those was because of the length. most other sets i came across were shorter.
Steven Reckner
Yep thats why i was asking Marc where he got his all the others i found were short, for cars, or didnt have as many feelers, plus the prices were all over the board and it was a confusing world out there, I just trust what Marc uses as at least good to great he seems to take a lot of pride in his stuff i appreciate that
