chulett Posted March 30, 2012 Report Share Posted March 30, 2012 quick question. Do I have to apply poly to the sides of the cabinets that abut each other? I am in the finishing stages and apply poly (oil based poly) is not a big deal..Just wondering if I am wasting my time doing this. dcustoms Posted March 30, 2012 Report Share Posted March 30, 2012 you really only have to finish what you see and what faces the appliances especially the dishwasher and range. Just make sure to finish all the sides of the face frames even where they but to the other cabinets. 3 coats of poly will be good just lightly sand between the first and second coat.
