Has any one built Marc's assembly table and used it as out feed table/ work bench? If so did you use a vice and bench dogs with it? How well did it with stand up being a work bench?

I ask because my shop is to small for both. And I need a dead flat work surface for assembling and a work beck for building. So I thought if I built this it could work for both.

I used his plan as a guide on building a smaller version assembly table. M. S. Morton built a torsion box assembly table/bench with a vice. He filled the space behind the vice with strips of MDF sandwiched together for mass. Search his site for the video. I'm sure you could modify the bench/table to be an outfeed table as well.
