mlehikoinen
I bought a Veritas block plane this past Feb, and about two weeks ago, I got a letter in the mail from them. I'm thinking it was about the picture frame making course I was signed up for. Lo and behold it was a cheque for $11 + change! The letter inside stated I was because they had lowered their price on the blade that came with it! Because I bought it in 2010 and the price changed in their 2010 catalogue (released months later) they have a business practise of issuing the difference back! Needless to say I was quite chuffed. This is the way to do business as a premiere tool company!
Lawrence Brown
Cool. Just so they don't send you a bill if their prices go up!
schafersound
Mike, Got my refund check too, on a blade I bought with my Low Angle Jack, they have me forever as a customer. I've taken stuff back, no questions asked, here's your money back, they always get it back triple from me.

Lucas
Seems like there's a lot of the cheques going around... I received one for a Starrett square a purchased several months ago. I've always found Lee Valley to have fantastic customer service.... Makes you want to keep buying their product!!
