Vic
Damian, I would think you'd need to seal the linseed in first with shellac. I'm sure others will know for sure what the process is, though.
DeanJackson
Hello folks. Quick question. I'm building entertainment cabinet for family room. Was wondering if you can shoot laquer over linseed oil? thanks damian I'd asked a pro finisher this a few months back; I'd oiled a walnut bench, and asked "if I get tired of reoiling this, can I spray it with lacquer?" Answer: "let the oil completely dry first, and you should be fine; completely dry will be at least a month." I've never tried it, but that's the answer I got.
