Interesting. That will get handed down and the cherry will age beautifully. Congrats on the new baby! Yea, I wanted it to be pretty straight forward and quick build, but wanted to make it my own. Been wanting to build a floating top table for awhile but haven't got around to it, so thought why not put that aspect into this. Think it turned out pretty good, especially since it and the crib I just built have been the biggest projects I've made and haven't used plans already made.
