I laid it out and it should measure 1-3/8" at the bottom, but on the full scale layout in the pdf attached to the file, it is less. Can I take the full 1-3/8" at the bottom of the leg and work that into the layout and taper up into the leg where it begins to bend back? http://americanwoodworker.com/blogs/projects/archive/2010/01/22/stickley-side-chair.aspx Thanks for any ideas. ddg Posted March 14, 2011 Report Share Posted March 14, 2011 Brian, You're looking at it the right way. When you make changes, try to make them to sides that don't have a joint. It makes life easier.
