Tom King
Looks like a Fox grabbed it by the head and broke its neck. I didn't know what it was, but it's a Mink as verified by Google. No one I know has ever seen one around here before. Not enough fur to make a coat out of, so I just left it there. The Fox will probably come back for it. There is a family of Foxes living in a brush pile where I dump limbs back there.
Popular Post Tom King
It was a fresh kill, and not messed up too badly, so I wrapped it in a towel and plastic, and put it in a freezer. Medoc Mountain State Park is about 45 minutes away from here. They have a display of taxidermized local woods animals there, including a Flying Squirrel that a cat brought in our house thirty some years ago. Pam is going to contact them to see if they want it.
