sf_c
Anyone have experience finishing cherry with Good Stuff wood finish? I am completing my latest project -- a cherry end table -- and a woodworking friend recommended using Good Stuff since i want to keep it as natural as possible. bois
If you're looking for the most natural finish on cherry, I'm hard pressed to find anything better than oil and wax. I did a video post on my blog a while back about my heated oil finish, which I've found to be my favorite. I can't take credit for it though, this is the finish Thos. Moser uses on most of his cherry pieces. Hot oil finish
Dan S
if you want to stay as natural as possible, I'd recommend blonde shellac. The down side is it isn't very protective.
