Bobby Slack
Thanks Tim. Yes, the move is temporary for the summer months. I will be back in Sunny Southern California probably late September. Wow! What inspired the temporary move? I hope all goes well with the transport. RenaissanceWW
Where are you heading Bobby? I live out there for more than a decade and will always be on a Rocky Mountain High.
Bobby Slack
Hey Shannon! Howdy from Gunnison County. The town is called Pitkin. If I have to buy milk for example is 25 miles each way. I arrived on Thursday at around 7 pm local time (left Southern Cal at 1;45 PM). Leaving early helped me to avoid the traffic in LA and Vegas. I stopped for two cups of coffee in Primm (stateline) and drove right through (stopping to release fluid and add gas to the van). I am now here, dealing with priming the water pump (done) filling up my 2000 gallon underground water tank (900 gallons done so far by driving with a truck and a water trailer to a spring). Started the boiler (heated floors and water). So the infrastructure is done so far. I went to the store today, got food, some more supplies at the hardware store and ready to rock. Now I don't have to leave my castle for a week. Ah ... the town ... Pitkin, Colorado.
