Pbmaster11
I would like some ideas on how to fill the grain/pores on open wood... I believe that is what is is called... pores? grain filling?
PaulMarcel
Which woods? To me, filling Walnut pores is much different than filling Red Oak pot-holes. Also are you wanting to fill with color or colorless to get a smooth surface?
Pbmaster11
Walnut and oak is what i have been using mostly. What other woods need to be filled?
Dan S
No would needs to be filled, but pretty much all of them need to be filled if you want a glass smooth surface. Woods like Cherry and maple can be filled with the finish, because the pores are fine, woods like Oak need an actual filler.
