Urangme
So my wife has a sentimental attachment to her basic cooking knife, and I don't have the skills to replace the broken handle with something that works and looks nice. Anyone in the East Bay area around Berkeley Ca have the skills and the interest in taking on a small project for pay to solve our kitchen catastrophe? I paid someone to repair it already...they did a horrible job so now I'm turning to the wood working professionals (tried a knife sharpener the first time) Please help! JayWC
Urangme, I have a 10" Henkels Pro S chef knife with handles that turne gray and are falling off. I also had a 5.5" Henkels Pro S boning knife that snapped. I suggest you mail the defective knife in to them per the instructions on their website. They have replaced knives in the past that are defective (as long as there are no signs of abuse). If not, good luck finding someone out there to help you!
