It was my intention to stream the build live from the shop, however, aside from my Andriod phone, I have no Internet access out there and the hotspot is simply not fast enough for streaming. First thing is the sound box. I am building this out of mahogany. The first step was to build the form I was going to use to help hold the shape. The hardest thing on this was getting all the angles to play nice together. In the above, you can see the top, side, and bottom of the sound box. There are two more slats which have been added to make the box a complete half-circle. I will use this jig for when I fit the soundboard to the box so I don't risk breaking the glue joints.
