My 3.5 year old son somehow created a nice hole in the seat of my chair I use in my office. Any tips would be appreciated! DadoHead Posted September 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 I haven't had time to take any pictures, but I can say that removing the old banding takes some time. It was much easier to remove the old spline by drilling little holes about 1/4 inch apart in the old spline and then using the caning chisel to remove the rest.
