Finally started making cabinets for my shop.

After years of planning and debating I started making cabinets. All of them will run on casters so I can move everything. Pictures soon.

As much as I love woodworking, I just HATE making cabinets...kitchen or utility anyway.  So boring.  Another dado and I'm gonna put a bullet through my head.  A necessary evil, though...at least for the shop.  Enjoy, Bobby!

HAHAHA well spoken I have a whole saw dedicated to dados I cut so many!  It is just a fact of life though.  I just got a large furniture order in the shop and am happy as hell to break up the monotony of cabinet making..

I love the whole, "set up the shop" thing. Every new item just adds to the pleasure of creating the next one. I have to point out here that I do not make furniture for a living, I do it when the mood takes me.

The cabinets to host my Festool boxes are all  custom. All of them fit in my trailer so if when I pack up to go to my other shop location in the Colorado mountains, I roll the tool boxes to my trailer and off I go ...

The next box will be for my hand tools, the hanging cabinet does not work for me ... neither does a trunk.

Shop cabinets on casters allows me to re-configure the shop  in no time.

Also since I work on a small footprint, this also helps me to re-configure the space in no time.

So the design was custom to fit my trailer ";)
