dflan004 Posted April 22, 2016 Report Share Posted April 22, 2016 i recently made a patio table for my house. i was planning on using a clear outdoor finish, but the wood i used was cheap and doesnt look all that great. so i wanted stain it. What is a good outdoor stain to use? i was looking at the general finishes 405 exterior stains but i cant find a place to buy them. You also have the option of putting two coats of the stain and no topcoat. I heard great things about this product that's what I would use if I were you. dflan004 Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2016 yeah i saw that. i was just trying to be cheap and avoid the shipping. but that might be what i do anyway. i already have the General Finishes 405 varnish top coat and outdoor oil. that stuff is great.
