STL Woodguy
I like my Earlex 5500 just fine, have had good results with it but you'll definitely want needles other than what comes in the box, either the 1.0 or 1.5 based on what you're spraying. That said, it may not be a "buy once" kind of thing as I will eventually upgrade to a Fuji / 4 stage at some point. But at the time I got the Earlex, I got it knowing it would get me into the game for low cost - which it's great for - and I could sell it someday to get some of the cost back to put towards an upgrade. Pbmaster11
Sprayed entire kitchen cabinet set. Turned out great. I used a 1.3mm needle for the primer and a 1.5mm needle for the latex. Both were thinned a little and used flowtrol to assist in the smooth finish.
Trip
==>Also, while you are channeling Don you might also add that it is a sin to shoot latex on any furniture or cabinet project. Go down to Sherwin Williams or Rodda and get yourself some tinted lacquer. That's pretty good... Still take it no one's gotten an email?
