SBlakeS
I keep reading these articles highlighting beautiful pieces of furniture. In many of them, they mention that the person was an apprentice under so-and-so (This one for example). How do they come across these apprenticeship programs? I don't think I would have time for that undertaking with my current job but I would definitely like to know how to find them for the future. I have searched quite a bit online and can't seem to find anything. Thanks. Blake
jon003
I think one generally finds somebody whose work they appreciate and then contacts them directly. I don't think many professionals shop advertise apprenticeships.

nateswoodworks
I am sure Marc can clue you in on the specifics of it from when he worked under David Marks, he talked about it in a guild meeting before. Nate
