Bunnyblaster
Hey there. New to the forum here. I just bought several tools off of craigslist. In this group of tools was a Powermatic 63 table saw. The belt is pretty much shot, and all the safety gear on top is missing. I figure I could make a trip to an auto parts store and find a v belt that will work, or maybe try one of the link belts. But what about the safety stuff? Powermatic doesn't make the splitter or guard for it anymore. I've seen the Shark Guard, and MJ splitters. Anyone have a 63 with an aftermarket splitter? Which ones work the best? thanks for the info! Aaron
Sac
Not sure about the splitters, but I would use a link belt. These are a good cheap upgrade to help reduce vibration. I have not use one, but have heard nothing but good reviews from those who have.
