SBlakeS
The title says it all. I'm trying to acquire a Yankee drill press. Either the 1003 or 1005. Does anyone know where I can find one? Ebay is coming up with nothing. Thanks. Blake

SBlakeS
I'm a new hand tool user and I'm just trying to find ways to drill consistent, 90 degree holes. Found out about this tool and thought it would be worth looking into. Thanks for the link. Blake
Dave H
i'm a power guy mostly, when i'm i'm on a job somewhere away from the shop and i want to drill a hole perpendicular to the surface i take two pieces of 2x4 or anything dimensional cut a square end on the ends screw or nail the edges together fush on edges and flush on the squared ends. stand this set up on end the inside edge of drilling block is perpendicular to surface hold the block in one hand start the drill bit in work piece push the drilling block into bit stand it tight into the 90deg corner of block you will have a perpendicular hole. won't cost you nuttin'

SBlakeS
I did a search for Highland Tools and all that came up was Highland Woodworking. I searched there and only found a small drill guide meant for power tools. Is this what you're referring to? Thanks. Blake

I checked the web last night, too, and noticed that the drill that was listed was not the one I kept trying to describe to others. So I need to work on my descriptions when speaking with others. Sorry I can't be more help.
