schu777 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 I've got a nice 3" ash board (18" wide and 8 feet long) that I'd like to use to build the base of this workbench, but I don't want to order this special screw for this bench. Price from the site is $21.50 (7mmx70mm) + 6.95(7mmx60mm) and $1.00 (Shipping???) and $2.07 (Tax)... Okay - maybe it's not that bad, but I only need two of the 60mm screw where I have to get a box of 25...and I'd have 30 left over of the 70mm ones. I'm surprised by the shipping, is it really that cheap? I went through the process and even had it to where I just put in the credit card info and click the place order. Any way, guess it's not really a deal about the money, I just wonder if there is some alternate I could use that is a bit cheaper.
