Eric_Sweeney Posted February 13, 2011 Report Share Posted February 13, 2011 I got my clamps a while ago but, until this weekend was too busy to get to use them. My first thought on these clamps was that they would work great on a new coping sled I was planning to make and also on a tapered leg jig. Here is a picture of the new coping sled using the clamps. So far the clamps work great on the sled. I didn't realize until I made it that the clamps should be a little further away from the material it is holding than I allowed but, it still works. It would be nice if there were a couple different sized head to distribute the clamping pressure differently depending on the material. I was thinking of making one of my own using a large 1/4" thick plastic disk with some neoprene on the side that touches the material.
