Rick LoDico
I just picked up a new Macbook Pro. I transferred a bunch of data from my old MBPro via firewire but my itunes and iphoto didn't go through. Any help out there?

lighthearted
Try dragging the files/folders from one computer to the other making sure they are in their respective folders. You can make your old computer an external harddrive--Connect the firewire to both computers, the restart the old computer and hold down the "T" key until you see a fire wire icon on the old screen. Once you see this you should be able to run the migration assistant again, or try simply dragging the entire folders into the respective folders. It will ask you if you want to replace --answer "yes". hope that helps
Rick LoDico
After four attempts, wireless and by firewire, once each way over the phone with Apple support, I brought it to the Apple Store and had them do it. Really awesome MacBook Pro!
