Ben H
Amazing. Let me pick your brain for a moment. I've been wanting to get into a little carving. What tools/knives do you recommend for a guy to start with? EDIT: You have the best domain name ever. Period.

Period. well i'm no expert at all.. i'm very low tech when it comes to tools, i only recently got a nice set of carving chisels but i don't really use them that much.. they're too nice for every day carving lol all i really use is a hammer, a chisel and a Stanley Knife with plenty of blades (spare blades are dirt cheap and nothing beats a sharp blade.. watch your fingers though!!) i like the Stanley.. it has a thin blade, good for contours and fine detail
