ediazf
Hi, just finished my cajon drums. Too bad I didn't take better pictures, I noticed this when I delivered it, but I will take good pictures when I see it again It sounds really god and give much much better bass than some other "cajones" some of my friends have. usacomp2k3
What wood is that? Looks to be about 3/8" thick?
ediazf
It was my first cajon so I tried with inexpensive pine, here in chile its "pino oregon" its kind of pink... not so white as regular pine. The hole structure its 14mm pine (about 0.55 inches) and the front is a good quality plywood, 3 layers of "coigue" wood, wich its a really hard and common wood in chile, I don't know its name in english and this plywood was 3.5mm (about 9/64 of an inch) thick. usacomp2k3
Well done. It looks like it sounds great, which is the most important part.
