tdale51@yahoo.com
Ok here goes. My Ryobi contractor saw that got me quite far took a big poop today which is ok considering I've outgrown it and wanted to upgrade anyway. I do mostly furniture and small items with the occasional cabinet here and there. I don't have a huge budget so I'm looking at the Grizzly 661 or the steel city 35990C. Both would be set up for 110V since I don't have a 220 line available. I'm lucky enough to live 3 hours from a grizzly showroom so I won't have to pay for shipping but I would have sales tax(6% i think) and the Steel City qualifies for free shipping though Amazon. So the point I'm trying to get to is which one do y'all think is a better buy? edit: I've just discovered the Grizzly G0715P hybrid that also looks good to me. tdale51@yahoo.com
Thanks Don. I think I'm gonna go with the 715. I don't think I'll be disappointed. From what I understand Steel City and Craftsman are made buy the same folks and I've had a lot of bad luck with Craftsman power tools in the past so that's out of the running. tim0625
Just what I've heard many say on this site, Griz tools are well built, a good buy for the money, and their customer service is great.
