Gregory Paolini
Hey Folks! Any one out there own or use a JDS Multi Router? We've been thinking about adding one to the shop for some time - But before we make the plunge, we really were wondering how often folks use it for more than mortise and tennon joinery? Just curious Gregory
Onboard
I can’t answer your question Gregory, but it sounds like Darrell Peart uses a Multi-Router and is also a distributer.

I am in the same boat as Onboard can't answer the questions. I do know that David Marks uses a Multi-Router and is also a distributer. dwacker
I bought one and didnt like it, sold it. Had better luck with a slot mortiser for production stuff, even preferred the FMT to the multi router. Don

nateswoodworks
If I were in the market I think I would lean more towards the Leigh FMT. The wide variety of applications and small footprint seems to be in the FMT's favor. If you have a router that you can dedicate to it I think it would be the cats meow. Keep us posted!!
