tdale51@yahoo.com
Hi All, One of my future projects will be a kitchen island for Darth Matrimony. I'd like to use fairly hefty "farmhouse" legs. I don't own a lathe and for just this one project I can't justify buying a lathe. There may be one in the budget later but right now there's other tools that I need more. So I'd like to find someone fairly local that would be willing to make 4 paint grade legs for me sometime in the not so distant future and not break the bank. Thanks for reading. carverken
Welcome, I know there is a club in the Catocitn area --- http://catoctinareaturners.org/ I do not belong to them but many of their members are member of Capital Area Woodturners which I do belong to. Have fun and enjoy your work. Ken
Onboard
It may not be in the budget, but have you considered purchasing pre-made kitchen island legs? You can get them unfinished. Do you specifically want kitchen island legs or kitchen island posts? They sell both.
