duckkisser
http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/fuo/2871700845.html considering so many people just built benches how much did you spend including clamps is this a steal to clean up and use? konkers
I spent around $200 just on lumber for my Roubo. There's less lumber than a Roubo in these but you'd probably be hard pressed to build a solid bench for less that $200. The vises are probably wooden screw and would need some work to get working well. Also there's only two vises (one face and one end) between the two of them. At $400 each, I'd probably pass. Eric.
Pretty cool old benches, but like Konkers, I'd take the $400 and start building my own (Roubo ).
duckkisser
k was trying to decide if its worth the money to take clean and get working plus adapting to what i want. rather not build mine from scratch right now since im not to the point where i can build one correctly.
