bester
I have a small stand alone shop and have been considering purchasing a temp garage/shed for storage to free up space in the main shop. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had any expierence these that could give me some feed back on them? Also I live in MI so I'm also curious as to how they hold up in the winter. Thanks in advance for an info/help
jimmykx250
What exactly do you mean by temp? A rubbermaid thing or a tin screw together job from sears? If it was me I would build a stick frame shed the most bang for your buck and you would be suprised how much stuff you can store in a shed when you design it right! rodger.
Do you mean the tarp style sheds? If so, my neighbour had terrible luck with his. It basically blew away in a wind storm. He collected the pieces, and returned it.

jHop
funniest thing I've ever seen... few years ago, back when the tarp style was just starting to make mainstream, I used to go by a house that had installed one. They spent a few weekends rebuilding the sides after harsh storms. About a year later, they put a frame around the front edge to define it, and keep it firmly anchored to the ground (and fence). A year later, they installed a EXTRA HEAVY DUTY roll up garage door to the same canvas garage. And left the canvas/tarp sides and bodies, complete with patches. If you;re talking a weekend spray booth, I'd say it's probably not a bad investment. Just to get it out of the dust and out of the way, understand. Otherwise, I'd go bigger and better.
