Renzo Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I had my first woodworking accident today! And it wasn't even really woodworking related. As i had posted in another thread i'm redoing the ducting for my dust collection. I had an elbow connected to my DC and was about the attach the first main line piece, when I tripped on a piece of flexhose i had on the floor (before debating whether or not i should move it) and went right into the duct elbow calf first! funtimes! Nothing a little gauze and polysporin won't fix. But let's hope it's my first and LAST injury. Quote
Vic Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 My last injury wasn't tool related, either. But, it was clutter related. Still bruised and the nasty raspberry and gash are healing. Quote
PaulMarcel Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 D'oh! Hope it heals up quickly. If it leaves a scar, post a picture and challenge us to make up a great story of what really happened. Clutter and forgotten items on the floor are why I'm even anal about wearing safety glasses while doing glue-ups or taking off the clamps... so many pointy bars around eye level that I could take an eye out quickly.
