Vinny E
I have a sears lathe #103.23180 and the headstock spindle has just a center drive. This is a lathe from the late 1940's or early 1950's. I was looking to get a headstock with threads to turn bowls. Anybody have ideas how I can mount a face plate ?
Rick A McQuay
I have a Craftsman 103, I believe all the headstocks are the same so you should be able to swap the spindle or entire headstock. There are threaded morse taper arbors, most are made for drill chucks but you might find one threaded larger.
