davek88
My wife wanted some sort of box for the living room to store remotes and other small things. I had some Pine and Oak left over from other projects and really liked the contrast in the woods. I wanted to keep the wood looking natural. I put two coats of an oil based varnish. ( Marcs idea) Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
dtrust
Nice, Dave. Really nice touch on the corner braces. Makes for an interesting change from dovetails or straight miters. Definately accomplished your goal of keeping the wood natural. The finish really allows the wood to show thru. I Love seeing what people come up with using leftovers.
