Spray Finish for Cooler project

I am making a few rustic style coolers out of cedar fence boards (see pic for example).  I would like to spray a sealer coat on them instead of finishing by hand.  I prefer a water based product and have used Hydrocoat on a couple of small projects before, but not sure if that would be a good choice for this.  What do you guys recommend?

General Finishes has an exterior water based clear finish that gets good reviews.

Is this cooler going to be outdoors? If so, try this

Or if its for interior use go with this

I think you are both talking about the same product. I'll head to HWW and pick some up. Thanks!
