Dog Holes

Lawrence Brown

I still consider this bench a "prototype", so I'm not really afraid of messing it up. As such, I'm still figuring out the best bench dog configuration, so I tend to add holes as I need them. Here you can see three columns I added for the head vise. The middle column gets used for small pieces to keep the vise from racking. The outer two are used for wider pieces. Holes were drilled by hand with a bit brace. There are additional holes across the front for the tail vise and another row across the back for accessories.
