dinkjs
I had a 8" Brace and it just wasn't cutting it for the larger brace bits.....so over the weekend I bought a 10" brace.....much much better.....should I keep the 8" or give it to a friend who I know that would enjoy it? wilburpan
It's worthless. Send it to me. Seriously, keep it for smaller bits, and for driving screws. For drilling tasks where speed is better than force, the smaller sweep braces are great. You can crank them faster than the bigger braces. PaulMarcel
While I don't use it that often, I have a brace with a countersink in it always ready. Nice that I can crank the same number of turns on each hole for matched countersinks; without a decent stop, a bit in a powered (can I say that here?) drill will make them all different (well, unless you can count really fast).
