Incra miter 5000 sled, to the right or left of the blade?

Soon I hope to be using my new SawStop PCS, and I have a Incra miter 5000 sled that I have yet to use.  I always assumed a sled like that would go to the left of the blade, but now I am wondering if there's a difference left vs right.  The SawStop is a left-tilt blade.  Does it make sense to have a sled on the right side, and have the cut-off piece to the left of the blade?

I think it only matters what you are comfortable with... I like having my drops on the right of the blade with a sled, or miter gauge. I also like drops on the right side of my SCMS. I happen to be right handed if it matters..

i use mine on the left (also have SawStop) primarily because it just seemed natural to me.  With the SawStop it is possible to hit off switch with your knee when using the it on the left.

I am inclined to put it to the left, because that is also what I am used to.  My only concern is on bevel cuts, the "drop piece" will drop on the blade, since it is left-tilt.  Not sure if it's really a problem.

I use my Miter 5000 on the right of the blade. I'm a righty, I feel more comfortable standing to the right of the blade, My offcuts are never big pieces with the sled. I use it mostly for smaller projects. Honestly, since I got my Kapex I haven't used it.
