Imagine if citizens of the capital decided to figure out the meaning of "blue" in the "Blue Line." No intricacy, just an arbitrary label. Now imagine they instead called one the "Train Line" and one the "Line on Rails." I think this is more to the point. Common traits do not help avoid confusion if people think they understand, but don't. If nothing else, this whole thread should make people stop and really examine tools they buy that don't follow commonly established labels.
