MisterDrow
That sounds like a whole lot of work, to keep from a sub sixteenth Gap on the back of a door. The gap being fixed is secondary to the primary issue of the panel rabbet being screwed up. It's just going to be easier at this point to take it apart and cut the rabbets properly on a table saw than try to jerry rig them in on an assembled frame. A 1/16" is still a sizable unit of measure in my shop. I sometimes hem and haw for a bit and look to see if there is a "fix" that I can live with. I give that about 3 minutes and then 'make another' or cut it apart, whatever it takes to correct the boo-boo. A chest of drawers I just finished had to be cut apart at one point due to an oversight. I'm not nuts about it but, I know what I can live with.
