Eric.
It appears that tapatalk has made a few changes (for the worse, of course). My main complaint is there seems to no longer be a "timeline" option to view recent posts, which was always my preferred navigation tool in the past. Does anyone know if it's hidden away somewhere but still accessible? Or is it just gone? Also I found no way to access the "forum help" subforum from the tapatalk menu, which is why I'm posting here. Mods can feel free to move it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Popular Post bleedinblue
The best way I've found to make tapatalk more user friendly is to uninstall it. Hope this helps.
trialbyfire
They definitely changed how to get to the news feed but if you look at the top portion where the different tabs are that is how I found it after the update Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
SawDustB
I had to add the timeline back. On the screen after you click on wood talk, hit the three dots in the top right. Hit customize. There will be a spot where you can put a check next to the items you want to show up, like the timeline. Hope this helps.
shaneymack
You should still be able to get it as Brian explained. I'd dump this app if it wasn't for the timeline. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
Eric.
The three dots doesn't give me a customize option. Android if that matters. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I'm on Android too. The three dots do different things in each screen, so it has to be on that first screen after going into wood talk. Eric.
This screen? Nope. Not there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
SawDustB
This screen? Nope. Not there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk One screen further in than that one. After you click on the wood talk icon. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
SawDustB
I bet you're not signed in to Tapatalk. It has its own login other than the wood talk one, which I think I used my Gmail for. It's probably where it keeps your preferences. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Eric.
I'm signed in. Can't find it on this screen either. I guess I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
SawDustB
Don't know if this helps, but this is what I mean:
shaneymack
From within the woodtalk forum: Then make sure this is checked off Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
Eric.
Yeah mine doesn't look like that for some reason. But I discovered that "all" works basically the same as timeline so I'm back to only kind of hating tapatalk rather than totally hating it.
