I imagine this type of caliper is more useful for turners. Anyone else out there have these or even similar style calipers and care to comment how you use them for non-turning tasks? wdwerker Posted March 2, 2018 Report Share Posted March 2, 2018 I use my dial or digital calipers to measure off of the old conventional calipers for setting or measuring.
