I dont mind re-applying a couple times a year if i need to. I dont want the poly look.
JayWC
Polymerized tung oil works. Build up 5 to 6 coats. Very gently buff with furniture wax as a final layer if you don't want polyurethane.
jimmykx250
I looked into tung oil from another post and im curious about this product. It helps with water absorbtion but doesnt make it water proof correct? It will however soak into the wood- right? If I wax as a final coat wont you be able to "feel" the wax on the surface? Thanks,
