I’m not much of a hand tool guy, so this stone has seen a set of chisels 2-3 times, and three plane blades about 3-4 times. As the one photo shows, I think it’s thicker than the spec 15mm. It should be pretty flat due to the little use it’s seen and I consistently flattened it with my lapping plate before using it. If you don’t know about these ceramic stones, they have a very consistent abrasive medium, wear slowly, cut pretty fast, and don’t require soaking to use.
