Zags
I know similar topics have landed on this forum in the past, but I haven't quite found the answer to a question. I have a 30x40x20 tall post structure shop with the ceiling being the only thing insulated and I want to install a natural gas ceiling heater. If you've gone down this similar path can you tell me what btu output heater you went with or would recommend? I live in the NW and want to keep the shop temp at 60 degrees. Any other recommendations I would love to hear. Thanks
Mark J
Is insulation for the walls a realistic consideration? It would have big benefits, including cutting down on BTU's needed.
pkinneb
I second Mark's comments above also the height of the structure will make heating it especially from anything on the sealing a tall order. Anyway to cut the space you want to heat? Either in height or dimensions? If cost is not an issue I would insulate the entire structure and look at options that would lower the heat source.
